82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide
A short stroll from Rundle Mall, behind the State Library.
On foot. Just down the hill along Kintore Ave from North Tce. The Adelaide Train Station and the North Terrace Tram stop are both a short 8 minute stroll along North Terrace.
There is metered street parking along Kintore Avenue and Victoria Drive. Disabled parking is available nearby - please see Access page below for information.
You can browse the galleries in half an hour or take your time and explore in more depth. We recommend allowing 1-2 hours.
Bookings are only necessary for special tours and large groups. The Migration Museum galleries are small in size so to avoid disappointment it’s always best to check with staff before bringing a group to visit.
We recommend the Passengers in History website and the State Library of South Australia family history helpsheets.
