The exhibition Six Months re-imagines a pre-natal world, inventing the symbolic bond of mother/child attachment. The Migration Museum offers the Lying in Home, a site that birthed over 1,600 babies between 1880-1909. Through the materialisation of 26 experimental embellished objects, the exhibition will aim to engage the broader public in reflecting on the mother child relationship and time spent at the Lying in Home, a period of just six months.
