Captured Lives: Loveday during the Second World War

Come along to an evening event exploring the experiences of those detained in Loveday internment camp during the Second World War. Professor Peter Monteath will discuss the National Library of Australia collections showcased in his recently-released book Captured Lives, local historian Rosemary Gower will talk about the history of the Loveday camp, the Hon Julian Stefani AM will talk about the internment of his father and the lasting impact on his family, and Migration Museum Director Mandy Paul will talk about Loveday objects and stories held in the museum’s collection.
