The African Kitchen Project concludes its 3-month long series with its closing event ‘A Taste from the African Kitchen’ at the Migration Museum.

Location: Migration Museum, 82 Kintore Ave, Adelaide SA 5000

The event will offer the communities’ arts and traditional values, sharing the taste of all dishes cooked during the project’s life with the wider Australian community. The event includes performances showing off cultural music and dance.

The project aims to increase social participation, improve the English language and understanding of Australian values while creating a platform for African women in SA to explore areas for integration, engagement, participation, communication and learning between participants as they share their cultural skills learned from their parents or grandparents through the art of cooking.
