School holiday activity: Revolting Girls and Rotting Boys

This one-hour activity will explore the lives of a few of the ‘revolting girls’ who passed through the Destitute Asylum at the Migration Museum site in the mid-1800s and the  ‘rotting boys’  who lived on the ageing vessel the hulk Fitzjames between 1880 and 1891. Come in, dress up, line up, and fess up to your crimes. Have fun working through the choices that you made and your eventual destination. Working through five different stations, explore what life was like for these children.

$5 per child, suitable for 8 -12 year olds.

Bookings essential via Eventbrite.
